Open the window before you go to bed and improve your sleep quality and your performance the following day.

Opening windows or doors before sleep can reduce carbon dioxide levels in the bedroom and help your sleep efficiency.

The fresh air was shown to have an impact, regardless of room temperature, during sleep, according to a Danish study.

TV sets and computers in the bedroom have already been shown to contribute to air pollution in the room.

The study found that when the air quality in the bedroom improved the sleep quality of anyone sleeping in the room also improved.

Those who took part in the experiment also reported feeling better next day, less sleepy and more able to concentrate.

Tests also showed their logical thinking improved

The study was published in the journal Indoor Air,  the international journal of indoor environment and health.
